There's lots to be done in preparation for our sailing season, we'll begin on Saturday April 8th at 0900. Rescheduled from last Saturday due to the weather. Meet in the tent, the committee chairs will be there to assign the work. Wear your work clothes and bring your work gloves. A lunch of hamburgers and hot dogs will be served at noon for all work crew volunteers. If you can’t help all day, that’s ok, put in as much time as you can. There will be a prize drawing for those who work until 1600. Many hands make light work. This is YOUR club, be a part of getting it ready for the season.
The DOCKS CREW will ready the launch dock, inspect and repair the floating dock as necessary and salvage parts to dispose of some of the old docks that are beyond repair.
MOORINGS CREW will clean the new mooring buoys and prepare new chains, swivels and shackles.
The CLEANUP CREW will begin a sweep of the yard and grounds to remove trash
and debris that has accumulated, rake up leaves, branches and cut grass if needed
. Flower beds will also need to be worked on.
There will also be a CREW working on the engine lockers and dinghy racks.
